In February 2026, I began a work experience/volunteering stint with the climate activism group Edinburgh Climate Coalition (ECC). I was asked to create a social media and digital communications strategy for the group as they look to grow.
I was first asked to help with a campaign to counter the misinformation spread by Reform UK on climate issues and to reintroduce climate issues to potential Reform voters. My work included multiple pieces of social media content, including an informational carousel, memes, and videos (content from street stalls and a piece to camera). I was also tasked with creating a leaflet to be handed out at street stalls, protests, and events.
Below are examples of the work I created for this campaign. This content was posted on Instagram, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn (Resulting in over 2k impressions within 24 hours and 121% increase in followers on Instagram).
