Arran Proctor

I am a recent Master’s graduate in Political Communications and Public Affairs, with a background in Journalism. I bring a strong foundation in research, media analysis, and strategic communications, combined with practical skills in news writing, storytelling, and digital content creation. I am passionate about human rights and politics, and using my skills to create a lasting impact in the world.

Through my studies, freelancing, and volunteering, I have gained extensive knowledge and honed my skills. I recently started volunteering with the Edinburgh Climate Coalition in digital communications. In this role, I have created a communications plan and toolkit for other volunteers to use. I also manage the group’s social media accounts, creating graphics and video content and engaging with the community. You can view some of my work here.
